Woodland Park Fire Under Control

Crews quickly got the upper hand on a fire burning north of Woodland Park, and say it is now under control.

Officials say the fire was started by target shooting, and that the person shooting reported it immediately.

Crews did a couple of bucket drops by helicopter, and got it under control before it blew up. The fire was reportedly a little more than two acres.

Rainbow Falls Park is about 10 miles north of Woodland Park.
