No one is displaced after a fire in a Victorian home in downtown Colorado Springs, though it did take more than an hour to get completely under control.
The house, located on 601 N. Cascade, has been converted into five apartment units. Thirteen people were evacuated; all have been allowed back inside except for the ones living in the unit where the fire started. That apartment is located in the basement. Those people will be allowed back in after the investigation is completed. At this time, a cause is currently unknown.
The fire was first reported shortly before 9 a.m. Firefighters left the scene by 10:30 a.m.
