A man crashed into a home on the northeast side of the Springs, then collapsed outside his vehicle.

He was found dead some time later.

Police believe a medical issue likely contributed to the crash, though an autopsy is still pending.

No one was home when the driver ran into the side of a garage on the 6800 block of Cotton, near Dublin and Rangewood, then hit a fence.

Based on where he was found, police tell 11 News he appeared to have gotten out of the truck, then collapsed outside of it. The driver was found about 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, but police believe the crash occurred a "long time" before that. They weren't specific as to how long before.

The driver has not been identified at this time, except that he is in his 60s.
