A jury has found the suspect in a deadly hit and run guilty.
The verdict came down Thursday morning.
The jury says Fidel Garcia is responsible for the death of 31-year-old Elizabeth Marshall last summer, and that he fled the scene after crashing into her. The crash happened on the night of June 19 on the 2100 block of Platte in Colorado Springs.
Garcia reportedly turned himself in the month after the incident.
Garcia has also been charged with attempted sexual assault in a separate incident late last year.
