A system producing heavy snow in the central mountains arrives in SE Colorado overnight Sunday into Monday bringing moisture, windy conditions and colder temperatures. Snow showers will be possible across the I-25 corridor to start the day. This system will produce bands of snow through the day Monday. Areas under these bands will see periods of heavy snowfall which, with windy conditions, could create travel difficulties. Several inches of accumulation will be possible in areas where these bands develop. For more information click the ‘Weather’ tab...
The FBI has released a revised description and a composite drawing of a man suspected of kidnapping a girl in Cody.
Police say the man lured the 11-year-old girl into his SUV Monday by claiming he needed help finding a missing puppy. A group of hunters found the girl outside the town several hours later.
The man is described as between 45 and 60 years old, between 185 and 200 pounds, with short strawberry blond or white hair. He had a neatly trimmed mustache or beard and brown eyeglasses with blue accent stripes. The unidentified suspect was driving a white SUV, possibly a 2004-2005 Toyota Forerunner.
Authorities investigating the disappearance of 10-year-old Jessica Ridgeway initially looked for a connection between the two cases but later determined they were not related.
