Officials want you warn you that you will probably experience delays when driving through downtown Pueblo through February 24.
The City of Pueblo Wastewater Department will be doing repair work on a sanitary sewer main in the alley between Santa Fe Avenue and Main Street. The work is located near the intersection of Santa Fe Avenue and 1st Street.
According to city officials, the sanitary sewer main was severely degraded and required immediate repair. The work is anticipate to continue for the next two weeks. They hope to have it completed by February 24.
1st Street will remain open to traffic, but due to periodic congestion in the area, drivers are encouraged to find alternative routes.
