Colorado State Patrol is asking for the public’s help to find an county jail escapee.

They say that Robel Turcios-Rodriguez escaped from the Costilla County Jail on Sunday, September 9th. Turcios-Rodriguez was being held on suspicion of human smuggling and resisting arrest charges.

State Patrol says Turcios-Rodriguez was spotted yesterday in the area east of Fort Garland Colorado. They say a reverse 911 call was put out to residents in the area to warn them. They are warning people not to try to detain Turcios-Rodriguez if they see him. Residents should call 911.
