Two witnesses took matters into their own hands when they saw someone steal an i-Pad. It happened Tuesday night at the AT&T store on East Cheyenne Mountain Boulevard near Lake Avenue.
Police tell 11 News a man walked into the AT&T store, grabbed an i-Pad and allegedly took off. Two store employees saw him and started chasing after the man.
The suspect was running across Lake Avenue when a State Patrol Trooper happened to be in the area and witnessed the chase. Authorities took the man into custody and tell 11 News that they brought the him to the Police station for questioning.
The i-Pad was recovered and returned to AT&T. Police are investigating the case.
