It's expected to be another day of emotional testimony in the sexual assault and kidnapping case against a Denver man.
Bret Thompson started a nationwide manhunt back in 2011 after police say he kidnapped an 8 year-old girl from an alley near her home and sexually assaulted her.
The victim is now 10 years old. She took the stand yesterday after opening statements.
She told jurors she made Thompson "pinky promise" he wouldn't hurt her before he drove her to his Aurora home.
She was found at a gas station shortly afterwards. Thompson was arrested days later in New Jersey.
He's pleading not guilty by reason of insanity.
