A 74-year-old man is recovering from injuries after he was hit over the head with a gun during an attempted robbery while heading into a bingo parlor.
Colorado Springs police say it happened at Bingo World on S. Academy.
Colorado Springs police say the man fell down after being attacked Wednesday and three men demanded money. The victim refused to cooperate and the attackers ran away.
Police say the unidentified victim was taken to a hospital where he was treated for cuts on his face.
All three suspects are described as black men in their 20s. One was wearing a dark green jacket while the other two were wearing dark hoodies.
