The El Paso-Teller County Enhanced 911 Authority has announced an upgrade to the system.
The upgrade will allow those registered to receive emergency notifications from ENS (Emergency Notification System) can customize what order they would like the system to notify them. Options include text, landline phone, cell phone and email. Users can choose for themselves what methods of contact and in what particular order best suit them individually.
People who registered for ENS before the start of the Black Forest Fire on June 11 are advised to re-register with the system, as those people will not be able to log into the system and manage their contact information.
