I-25 is open again south of Pueblo but C-DOT said there is still a lot of blowing dust in the air and the speed limit has been reduced to 50 mph.

State patrol first closed down the southbound lanes between mile markers 90 and 94 around 12:20 p.m. and followed a few minutes later by closing the northbound lanes as well.

Visibility was only about 50 feet. State Patrol said there were several crashes in the area.

The interstate was reopened just before 1:00 p.m. with a reduced speed limit.

KKTV 11 News meteorologist Christine Rapp said there are 40 mile an hour wind gusts in the area.
