Springs Police say a driver who ran a red light caused a crash that shut down the southbound lanes of Powers Boulevard last night. The accident happened at the intersection of Old Ranch Road at about 9:30 p.m. Monday.
According to police, a vehicle going south on Powers was hit by another vehicle going west on Old Ranch Road. The drivers and passengers in both cars were taken to the hospital. One passenger had to be cut out of the vehicle. Everyone is expected to recover.
Southbound Powers Boulevard and eastbound Old Ranch Road were reopened at about 11:30 p.m. Monday.
