A driver is in critical condition after crashing into a tree late Monday night.
Springs police say the crash may have been caused by a medical condition that the driver suffered just before the accident.
Medical personnel got the call around 11:30 p.m. When they got to the scene on East Bijou, the driver was still in the car. After extracting the driver from the vehicle, the driver was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
At this time, the driver has not been identified pending notification of family.
