A man is facing DUI charges after allegedly driving a pick-up truck into the side of a house.
The driver, identified by police as Andrew Fletcher, had to be cut out of the vehicle. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
There were no injuries reported to people living inside the home.
Springs police say Fletcher was driving on the 3300 block of Clubheights Drive when he went off the road, through a fence, down an embankment,and crashed into the side of the house.
Police say a passenger who was in the vehicle left to get help for the driver and came back a short time later.
The homeowner told police the accident did about $10,000 worth of damage to the home.
The accident happened just after 11:00 p.m. Saturday.
