Dozen Shell Casings Found Behind Home

Twelve .40 caliber shell casing were found in the alley behind a Colorado Springs home late Sunday night shortly after a disturbance.

Police say the disturbance began at a party held at 739 E. Cimarron, leading someone to fire the dozen rounds. The suspect is unknown at this time. Witnesses say they saw a muscular black man without a shirt on heading in a northbound direction on foot shortly after the shots were heard.

No injuries or property damage was reported in this incident.
