Downtown cameras led to the arrest of a man possessing almost a quarter-pound of marijuana, police said Monday.
The suspect, identified as David Frederick, was seen on camera near the Acacia Park playground on February 6 with a large baggie of what appeared to be marijuana. Frederick was arrested for possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
The public is reminded that even with Amendment 64's passing, it is still only legal to possess under one ounce of marijuana, and only for those 21 and older. Sale or use of marijuana in public is still prohibited.
