Three vehicles, including a Colorado Springs Utilities truck, were involved in a crash on Marksheffel at Stetson Hills.
Injuries to those involved weren't serious, though the scene initially would have suggested otherwise: one vehicle ended up in a ditch, while fire crews had to extricate an accident victim who was trapped inside their car.
Police have not released an accident cause, but say visibility in the area is poor.
Also in eastern Colorado Springs, a downed light pole closed multiple lanes on northbound Powers, north of Barnes, early Friday morning. A vehicle reportedly crashed into the light pole, knocking it down. The area was quickly cleared, but not before causing traffic to back up.
