A dog riding with his elderly owner reportedly caused a crash after jumping on the gas pedal.

Police say the dog's owner, who is in his 90s, was at the Bear Creek Dog Park near 21st and Cimarron Tuesday when his dog hit the accelerator, causing him to drive through a fence. The owner then drove along a pathway until going into a creek.

The owner only sustained minor injuries, and no one else was injured. People who saw the crash were amazed that there weren't more people hurt.
