Two attempted burglary suspects were arrested after a sharp-eyed neighbor spotted the pair and called police.

Two attempted burglary suspects were arrested after a sharp-eyed neighbor spotted the pair and called police.

The two men reportedly got into a backyard through a fence. One allegedly acted as a lookout while the other knocked on the door to see if anyone was home. The witness said they tried to get into the house, but failed.

Police arrested two people near where the incident happened on the 5000 block of Nolte Drive North in Colorado Springs. The area is near Powers and Airport.

Both suspects are charged with Attempted 1st Degree Burglary, Conspiracy, Possession of Weapons by Previous Offenders, and Obstructing a Peace Officer.

Their names and mug shots have not been released.
