The Denver Zoo is welcoming a new resident. A 12-year-old male Fiji banded iguana.
He can been seen in the zoo's Tropical Discovery building. It's the first time in eight years the zoo has had one.
Males are known for their bright green color and blue or white bands. Females are usually green with some spotting.
The Fiji banded iguana is an endangered species and the zoo says it hopes to pair him with a female in the future.
