A deer was spotted with strands of Christmas lights tangled in its antlers.

11 News viewer Monica, took this picture near the Broadmoor.

Wildlife officers just sent us a warning to pass along to our viewers about loosely attached decorations.

Since bucks will often run their antlers against just about anything, officers say you should try to attach lights above the reach of deer.

This deer may have to wear these lights until it sheds its antlers later this winter.
