Updated: 05/14/2013 - I'm still focused on meeting my goal of doing a pull-up. And I'm almost there! But I'm always getting this question:
The unemployment rate for December remained relatively stable from November to December, inching up very slightly from 7.7 to 7.8 percent, according to new numbers released by the Department of Labor.
The U.S. added more jobs in December than in November, adding 155,000 jobs compared to 146,000 the month before.
Ahead of Friday's unemployment numbers, three reports released Thursday also indicated that layoffs declined in November, while applications for unemployment benefits are at a four-year low.
December marked the fourth-straight month since the end of 2008 that the unemployment rate is under 8 percent.
