Employees and customers at a Springs Walgreens kept a suspected shoplifter from getting away until police could arrive on scene.

Police say Daniel Munoz was seen stealing a box of razors Sunday night around 7:30. After an employee confronted him, Munoz allegedly punched him and tried to get away. The employee was able to grab him and hold him down with the help of others in the store.

Munoz was charged with robbery and taken to the CJC, where records show he is being held on a $10,000 bond.

The incident happened at the Walgreens on 1855 Southgate, on the southwest side of the Springs.
