Power has been restored to thousands of customers in Fountain after a large outage early Thursday morning.
The outage was first reported around 2 a.m., and impacted 3,000 customers. Officials tell 11 News the outage affected people on the west side of Highway 85/87.
Utilities workers are still trying to determine exactly what caused the outage. Fountain Utilities says the affected customers are being fed from another power source at this time.
