Grass Fire In Black Forest Contained

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office says a fire on Woodlake Road is "contained and out."

Crews are reportedly in the mop-up phase now.

Lt. Jeff Kramer with the EPSO says the call came in at 11:38 a.m. Wednesday near the 13800 block of Woodlake Road, near Hodgen and Eastonville Road. Several agencies responded, including Falcon Fire Department, Tri-Lakes Fire Department, Black Forest Fire Department and the El Paso County Wildland Fire Crew

The fire burned 2 acres and did not damage any structures.
