Fire crews rushed to put out a fire that fully engulfed a vehicle and spread to some nearby grass in eastern El Paso County.

Fire crews rushed to put out a fire that fully engulfed a vehicle and spread to some nearby grass in eastern El Paso County.

The fire broke out around 10:20 a.m. at Falcon Highway and Murr Road. The intersection was closed for a short time while crews put out the fire.

Falcon and Black Forest fire departments responded. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.

A spokesman for the sheriff's office says no one was hurt.
