Police say a vehicle taking a curve the wrong way caused a collision Monday afternoon on West Woodmen Road.
The driver hit an oncoming minivan, sending it off the road. The woman driving was uninjured. She was briefly trapped, but quickly extricated from her vehicle.
Police tell 11 News the woman saw the oncoming wrong-way vehicle and tried to avoid a collision.
The man in the other car was taken to the hospital as a precaution and will be ticketed.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Dairy Ranch and Woodmen at 12:25 p.m. and partially blocked one northbound lane on Dairy Ranch. The lane has since been reopened.
