There was a sense of deja vu for firefighters Thursday morning, who found themselves responding to a structure fire in the middle of the night at the same home as the day before.

Early Wednesday morning, a fire started at a home on the 1300 block of Dragoo Point in Calhan. At 1:17 a.m. Thursday, firefighters were called to the same house.

The home was engulfed in flames when crews got to the scene, but firefighters were able to get it contained within a couple of hours. As of 5 a.m. crews are mopping up.

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office says fire crews from Ellicott, Peyton, Tri-County, Falcon, and Calhan responded to Thursday's fire.

At this time, there is no word on what caused either fire.
