As the May 1 weather took on more and more of a winter look, several accidents occurred throughout the Pikes Peak region.
A truck was involved in a rollover accident at Cache La Poudre and Cedar Street near downtown Colorado Springs.
Police say the truck ran a stop sign and that's when it was hit by the car. The car pushed the truck in to a motor home parked on the street. The motor home was also damaged.
Another crash at almost 2 p.m. in east Colorado Springs has all but one lane of northbound Academy at Half Turn Road closed for some time.
Police say one man had to be transported to the hospital.
About an hour later, police say a car hit a light pole downtown on Tejon Street between Bijou and Platte.
Police say the woman involved was backing out of a parking space and backed into another car, then she accidentally put her car into drive and couldn't stop--plowing forward into the parking meters.
There were no injuries, but the driver knocked down six parking meters. Live wires were also knocked off of the light pole.
Colorado Springs Utilities responded to take care of the live wires.
Police are still investigating whether or not the woman should be ticketed.
