A one year old is in critical condition right now after a head on crash over the weekend.
State troopers tell us the baby was one of three people in a Hyundai that slid on ice and hit an SUV on highway 24 in eastern El Paso County.
Troopers believe the driver of the car was going too fast for the conditions.
Another deadly accident happened on this same stretch of road about three years ago. Troopers say 44 year old Jennifer Moss was killed when another driver didn't see her making a left hand turn.
We're asking state patrol if anything can be done to increase safety there.
We'll let you know what we find out.

A serious crash closed Highway 24 east of Ellicott Highway Sunday morning. Three people, including an infant, were rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.
According to the Colorado State Patrol the driver of a Hyundai hit an icy patch of Highway 24 at around 11:45 a.m. The car slid into the westbound lane and hit an SUV head-on.
The driver of the Hyundai, his passenger and a 1-year-old child were all seriously hurt in the crash. The adults were wearing seatbelts and the baby was in a car seat.
The driver of the SUV had minor injuries.
A spokesperson for the Colorado State Patrol said Sunday it appears the driver of the Hyundai may have been driving too fast. Charges are pending.
