Fremont County Crash Victims Identified

A fiery head-on collision closed Highway 50 west of Canon City for hours Tuesday evening.

Both drivers involved were killed in the crash. There were no passengers in either vehicle.

According to State Patrol, one of the drivers drifted into oncoming traffic and hit a pickup truck. That truck then caught on fire.

The Fremont County coroner identified the victims as 69-year-old Nancy Boisture and 63-year-old Doug Snyder Sr. Snyder was from Canon City; Boisture from Dallas.
