State troopers say a man is facing DUI charges after causing a crash on northbound I-25, just south of Fountain.
According to State Patrol, the driver involved, identified as William Franklin, neglected to brake while driving through a backed up construction zone. Franklin hit the car in front of him, causing a chain reaction. Four cars were ultimately involved in the wreck. Two children were transported to the hospital; a 9-year-old girl was seriously injured. There's no word on her current condition.
Franklin was charged with DUI.
