Couple Passes Counterfeit Cash In Pueblo

Police are looking for a couple who passed counterfeit money at a business in Pueblo Friday night.

Police say that a couple ran up a tab of $71.10 at a restaurant on the 3300 block of North Elizabeth St. The man handed the server four $20 bills and a $5 bill. The server noticed by the feel of the money that is was fake. The server then went outside and saw the couple drive off in a dark-colored sedan.

The couple is described as Hispanic in their early 20s. The man is between 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build and a mustache. He was wearing an Atlanta Braves baseball hat, black coat and a black long-sleeved shirt with a white logo on the front. The woman is 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall with long black hair and a thin build. She was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

The two passed $20 bills that all had the same serial number of JF07842551C.
