Council Won't Move $2 Million out of Road Repair Funding

Colorado Springs City Council voted Tuesday not to move $2,000,000.00 out of funding to fix roads.

The resolution would have moved the money into the Information Technologies department for remediation.

The resolution failed in a 7-2 vote.

The Council also voted not to put recreational marijuana on the November ballot. Instead, they decided to continue the discussion in August with the possibility of recreational pot appearing on the ballot in April.
