Authorities say a man confessed to killing a 14-year-old girl and then led them to her body in Commerce City when he surrendered to police.
Our sister station in Denver, KCNC, reports that a man police identified as 24-year-old Esequiel Padilla-Villalobos led police to the girl's body Monday. Police say he called authorities just before midnight to confess.
Authorities have not released the girl's name or information on how she may have been killed.
Padilla-Villalobos is being held at the Adams County Detention Facility.
