Colorado Woman Convicted of First Degree Murder

A Colorado woman has been convicted of first degree murder in the death of a man who was found dead in a southern Colorado motel room.

The crime carries a mandatory life sentence. Jeannette Silvia will be officially sentenced next week.

She was arrested after 59-year-old Michael Ramirez was found dead on August 21, 2012 at the Chief Motel in Colorado Springs.
