Five Colorado College students were rescued from a remote area in Mani La Sal National Forest in Utah.

According to Utah police, the students were supposed to return home on Sunday, but their families never heard from them. That's when search crews went out on snowmobiles and were able to rescue the students on Monday.

Police say they rescued two young men and three young women. When rescuers found them, the teenagers were in waist-deep snow near their stranded vehicle.

Officials say the students are in good condition and back in Colorado Springs.
