Car Into House, Power Out In Neighborhood

Power was knocked out in the area of Euclid and Northern in Pueblo after a car crashed into a house.

This happened Monday night. Police tell 11 News the driver was speeding. He reportedly told police he swerved to avoid an animal. He hit a power pole, drove through a fence and slammed into a house.

The driver suffered minor injuries. The residents inside the house were all uninjured.

About 15 homes in the area lost power due to this crash.

Police tell 11 News the driver will likely be ticketed with reckless driving and driving with a suspended license.
