Car Vs. Semi Crash Leaves One Injured

A car and a semi-truck collided on the interstate early Sunday morning, resulting in injuries to at least one person involved.

The collision occurred on northbound I-25 near the South Academy exit, mile marker 135, at 1:30 a.m. All northbound lanes were closed for more than an hour.

The car reportedly struck the semi. The injured party is believed to be the driver of the car, but that has not been confirmed. The severity of the injuries is also unknown.

11 News has been trying to reach Colorado State Patrol for more information.
