Colorado Springs Police have arrested a teenager who took a joyride through a parking lot, causing major damage to more than half a dozen vehicles.

It happened Tuesday night at the YMCA near Jetwing and Chelton.

Police say a red truck was stolen and the thief used it to ram into several cars. The owner of the truck tells us he had put his keys in his jacket and hung it up inside. Then, his keys were stolen.

Many of the victims were at the YMCA for swim night for the Boy Scouts. One of the owners whose car was damaged tells us she just bought her car three days ago.

Police located the teen suspect inside of an apartment located in the 4500 block of Fountain Springs Grove.

He was arrested and is now facing several charges.
