Investigators say alcohol may have played a role in a crash that sent 29-year-old Holli D. Raymer to Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs. A hospital spokesperson tells 11 News Monday morning that Raymer died.

The wreck happened on Highway 50, west of Canon City early Sunday morning.

State troopers say Raymer was behind the wheel of a 2008 Toyota Tundra when she ran off the road into a cliff face about 25 miles west (mm 257) of Canon City, shortly after midnight.

Alcohol is suspected as a contributing factor in the crash.

I think it's truly sad that people would get on here and bash this young woman,It's really quite hateful. I do NOT condone drinking and driving, but I also to don't believe that we are here to judge anyone, that's in God's hands. If she was drinking, that was a terrible mistake and she did pay the ultimate price and so did her family. A mistake doesn't mean she got what she deserved, she did not deserve to die. I pray for all of you hateful people on here writing these terrible things about a beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her family is suffering, maybe you should think about that. This could of been your daughter or son just as easily!

What I'm saying is until you know for fact that alcohol WAS the cause, you shouldn't pass judgement so quickly. You don't need to be sympathetic but isn't condolence right manner? If you don't have that either then wait until you have/ know the fact before being so cruel.

Think about the people who actually see your harsh comments - Holli's loved ones who are going the tremendous pain of losing her. All the people who are being so "rational" and judgemental - can you swear in your life that you have NEVER driven after having a glass of wine or beer? Guess what, anything could had happened to all those times and the report could have said "alcohol may be a contributing factor"

Have any of you really read the report? It says may, no where does it say alcohol caused the accident, NO WHERE. SO, until it is reported that alcohol was the cause maybe you should go to work or something. I am certian that by now Holli's family knows the truth about the accident and if alcohol was infact involved and really that is all that matters. It's none of our business what caused the accident. All we can do is pray for the family and friends left behind and grieve for the loss of such a young person who was so full of life. Holli was a beautiful person and a wonderful mother and wife. I'm sure that if all of you perfect people knew her your judgements regarding the accident would be different.

It is considered drunk, why charge someone for it if it wasn't? The only difference between the two is DWAI is 8 points and DUI is 12 points plus you lose your driver's license. Go get a Colorado Revised Statutes book and read section 42-4-1301(1)(a) for DUI and section 42-4-1301(1)(b) for DWAI and educate yourself!

Angie, in Colorado you can be arrested and charged with a .05 blood alcohol. .05-.079 is driving while ability impaired, .08 and above is driving under the influence. Know the laws before you speak.

Most of you all sickin me. Yes she made a poor choice but does she deserve to be dead? NO!!! If you cant say anything nice dont share your comment. Holli was a amazing person who loved her family with everything. Think about her poor children and family before you open your stupid mouths. You disgust me!!!
