Canon City Teen Charged With Pushing Grandmother, Threatening Police

Christian T. Cook

A Canon City teen is behind bars after police say he pushed his grandmother.

According to reports, 19-year-old Christian Tyler Cook was arrested in Canon City Saturday after he shoved his 77-year-old grandmother, Maria Stucker, into a table - hurting her leg.

He did this, police say, during an argument at Stucker's home. The grandson also broke out a window in the back door.

Before officers arrived at the woman's home, Cook allegedly made threats to dispatchers saying if cops showed up, "they would die," and "there would be a bloodbath."

When officers arrived, they say Stucker was already out of the house. Cook then yelled from the house and threatened to shoot police.
Police eventually made their way into the home and arrested Cook.

He is charged with crimes against an at-risk adult, third-degree assault, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Cook's grandmother was not seriously injured.
