A sister is searching for justice for her brother. Exactly two years ago he was murdered and his killer has not been found.
Candles are lit to honor 32-year-old Stephan Wilson. He is remembered as the rock of the family with an outgoing personality.
"He was funny, energetic, he was loving, he had the heart of a giant,” his sister, Michelle Wilson reminisced.
On October 1, 2010 police discovered Stephan Wilson dead in an apartment at the Rockrimmon Condominiums on the northwest side of Colorado Springs. He was shot in the head.
“It’s just disbelief and horror. I still can’t believe it, it’s surreal,” Michelle Wilson said.
His sister, Michelle, says there’s not a day that goes by that she doesn’t think of her little brother. She says her family is not giving up.
“We’re on a Justice for Stephan Campaign. We’re going to continue this until his killer or killers are brought to justice.”
In March of this year, police renewed their request for help with the investigation, and said they are still treating the murder as an open investigation.
Family and friends gathered at Prospect Lake on Sunday night for a candlelight vigil held in Stephan Wilson’s memory.
