Faculty and staff at CSU Pueblo gathered today to protest budget and staff cuts.
The college reportedly told staff Friday that 50 positions will be affected by $3.3 million in cuts to next year's years budget.
Protesters told 11 News the proposals were made with little or no input from them.
"Though we are assigned to do the cuts and choose the people that are going to be cut from our department, we were not allowed to be part of the process," said CSU Pueblo professor Doraluz Cobian-Klein.
Faculty members are asking leaders at the school to give them a bigger role in developing alternatives to the budget cuts.
