After snowfall along the I-25 corridor Sunday be on the lookout for slick road conditions tonight and during your Monday morning commute. Some areas picked up several inches of snow through the day and, while additional snowfall is not expected to continue, snow packed and wet roadways will freeze overnight as temperatures drop into the teens. Bundle up and take it slow as you head out on the roads. Click on the 'Weather' tab for more...
The death of a man whose body was found behind a Springs shopping center has been ruled a homicide. Police say William Walsh, whose name was released Wednesday, was shot.
Earlier this week we spoke with the family of 26-year-old William Walsh, who told 11 News they were certain the body was his.
Walsh went missing Monday morning, and was last seen at his mother's apartment on Bijou Street about a mile away from where the body was located. The body was found Monday afternoon in a field behind the Walgreens at Academy and Chelton.
The family says they have been approached by detectives with some questions. Though they aren't revealing specific details from that conversation, they have been open about their grief.
"A little girl’s father, somebody's son, got taken away for what?” wondered Walsh’s cousin Anthony Ramsey. “Someone got mad and did something stupid? Took their anger out on him? I don't know."
Monday night, detectives could be seen standing watch over a taped off portion of Walsh's mother's apartment complex.
