Police are asking for the public to help find two people suspected in a recent home burglary.
Investigators released a surveillance picture Tuesday. It's from the Safeway in Fountain it was taken on August 12th. Pueblo police said the man and woman pictured used stolen checks from a house in Pueblo on Olivecrest Drive. The house was for sale, and the suspects apparently used a story about being realtors wanting to show the house to get inside.
The suspects were described as a white female, 5’0 to 5’5” tall, medium build, wearing a multi-colored shirt with a brown sweater and blue shorts and a white male, about 5’8” to 6’0” tall, slender build, wearing a baseball cap, flannel shirt, and tan pants.
Police said the pair stole jewelry, electronics and cash.
Anyone who recognizes the two suspects is encouraged to call Pueblo CrimeStoppers at 719-542-STOP.
