Bullet Strikes Building On Yuma St., Man Arrested

Officers arrested one man after a bullet went through a local business.

According to police reports, on April 25 at 10:38 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Yuma Street to investigate shots fired in that area.

The Colorado Springs Police Department reports that they found a bullet strike in an occupied commercial building there. Several victims, who were outside the building at the time, were interviewed. No one was struck or injured.

Witnesses say the shots were fired from a black Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Officers later arrested Dwayne Linebaugh, 41, at around 2 a.m. on Friday, April 26, in the area of North Nevada Avenue and Mount View Lane.
