For two people late Wednesday night, the safe environment of their own home was shaken when a bullet was fired into their living room, narrowly missing them.
Three bullets in all were fired at the home, but only one actually made it through the walls, ending just feet away from the two inside.
Investigators say three people were then spotted running across the yard. Though they have not been identified, police believe two of the suspects were chasing the third.
The incident occurred around 10 p.m. at the 4th Street Mobile Home Park, in the area of El Paso and Nichols in Colorado Springs. Police have limited information and ask that the public call the Police Department at 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
