It was a tense couple of hours for residents in one Security-Widefield neighborhood after a suspicious-looking bag was spotted on a sidewalk.
The El Paso County Sheriff's Office brought their bomb squad to the area to investigate.
The bag was spotted just after 7 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Wayfarer and Hidden Pine. Due its location and it being unattended, it raised suspicions and the Sheriff's Office was called.
After investigating the contents of the bag, it was determined nothing dangerous was inside. The area was deemed "all clear" around 9:30 p.m.
The Sheriff's Office says they take every precaution with any suspicious packages or bags left unattended.
